== new album ==
Mark is back in Ireland after recording his new album `Ghosts' with David Odlum in Black Box Studio's in France. Expect to see it in your local record stores towards the end of August (provisionally 27-aug-04). There's also plans for a single from the new album sometime in June. more details soon...

== uk release of 33 1/3 grand street ==
Although released in Ireland early in 2003, '33 1/3 Grand Street' gets a belated U.K. release on the 14th June through Independent Records/Setanta with the single `Suzanne' going to U.K. radio in May.

== Radio play ==
Mark will be on the Ian Dempsey breakfast show on TODAY FM tomorrow morning just after 9... I believe Tom Dunne is presenting all this week and you catch it online at http://www.todayfm.com.
Mark will be on Wired fm [96.8 and 106.8fm] (only available in the Limerick area) on Tuesday 27th April (recorded over the weekend just gone). You should tune in at 7.30pm so i'm told. Thanks Emma and Jeff!

== TV airings ==
Mark has been popping up all over the place recently on TV shows and films... Here's a brief glimpse of them (more info on the site)...

'South' and 'Songs My Mother Taught Me' have been included in a U.S. movie called 'The Fittest'. 'Adam & Eve' has also been featured in 'Surviving Eden' which debuted at the South By South West film festival 2004. 'Adam & Eve' and 'Gingerman' featured on RTÉ's The Big Bow Wow.

== extra irish date ==
Mark will be supporting Josh Ritter at the Watergate Theatre, Kilkenny on Sunday 23rd May. Tickets are EUR20 and available by phone (056-61674).

== american tour ==
plans are underway for another extensive tour of the U.S. in June. more details as soon as we get them...
